DDS/Link is an
automated system which externally describes
undefined data files on the AS/400. Once your
files are defined with DDS, you may easily access
the data with query or any other system. Using
DDS/Link, error-free DDS source is automatically
generated directly from your RPG program source.
DDS/Link builds and defines both physical and
logical files. File layouts may be re-engineered
during the definition process. DDS/Link generates
data conversion programs which map the file data
into the new database files. Data decimal errors
are detected and corrected.
